Harm Reduction

 

  • Hepatitis Support
    • You can talk to your GP, health worker or SGDAS support worker about screening, testing and vaccinations for Hepatitis B and you will be offered both.
    • They can also arrange screening for Hepatitis C and give you information on the benefits of acupuncture, how your diet can help, and advise you on other ways of reducing risks to your health.

 

  • Needle Exchange

A mobile needle exchange service is available to meet the needs of rural communities. A range of needles and barrels are available as well as citric and free condoms.  Harm reduction advice and information is offered as part of this service.  Call freephone 0800 0733 011 or the Harm Reduction workers on 07917 456677 or 07920 265952.
