Aims of course:
- To raise participants' awareness of Safer South Gloucestershire protocols in relation to Anti Social Behaviour
- To make participants aware of the remedies available in relation to Anti Social Behaviour
- To raise awareness of the importance and benefits of partnership working when responding to Anti Social Behaviour
Over the course of this introductory training day, we intend:
- To explore what constitutes Anti Social Behaviour
- To explore and challenge and myths and attitudes that surround the Anti Social Behaviour Act
- To demonstrate the multi-professional partnership response to dealing with Anti Social Behaviour
- To examine South Gloucestershire Anti Social Behaviour protocol
- To explore early interventions to tackling Anti Social Behaviour
- To discuss the appropriate use of Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs)
- To discuss the appropriate use of Anti Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs)
Refreshments will be available throughout the day, with a 45 minute lunch break around 12.30
The course will take the form of whole group learning interspersed with a number of small group activities.
